Kariong Public School overlooks state forest and Brisbane Water National Park, and is surrounded by native flora. The school was opened on 11th April 1988. In July 1993 new premises were occupied.

Our facilities now include permanent and demountable classrooms, an administration block, library, hall, canteen, playground, covered learning area, courtyard, walkways and play equipment. A new Library and four extra classrooms were built during 2000.
